About

Hi! I’m Phoenix.

I’m a archivist and bookbinder living in the DC metro area with a penchant for fandom, preservation, storytelling, and how it all mashes together. When Twitter fell apart, it felt more important than ever to have a space of my own. So here we are: an old-school blog to talk about whatever’s on my mind lately.

Everything I post here also gets crossposted to BlueSky, Mastodon, and my RSS feed, if you want to follow me there instead. You can also subscribe via email to get new posts delivered straight to your inbox.

Colophon

This site is hosted by micro.blog. I got the URL from omg.lol, which also has a lot of fun indieweb tools to help stake out your own corner of the internet. The logo comes from The Noun Project. Tinylytics gave me the little “like” button on my posts, plus the incredibly nostalgia-inducing webring at the bottom of each page.
